Former United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) Secretary-General Mukhisa Kituyi has declined to draw politics into his leaked nude video.
The former Kimilili MP denied claims that his political opponents could be behind the video which went viral in recent times.
Speaking during an interview on Citizen TV, Mukhisa Kituyi said he has never issued a statement claiming the video was a political witch-hunt.
“Kenyans should judge me on the basis of my integrity as a national leader not my personal life. I don’t want to lower the debate of my candidature to issues below my neck. I have not given any statement about the alleged video and it will remain like that,” the diplomat said.

Kituyu, who is running for president in 2022 said that he is driven purely by his desire to see a change in the way the country’s affairs are run.
“I could not resign a prestigious international job to come to be someone’s project, a project for what purpose? I am not anybody’s project, and if I was anybody’s project it would’ve been visible by now,” he said.
He further said he is presently also seeking out alliances ahead of the 2022 race, but saying he will not work with “any person who has a clear recent history that they’re cerebrally corrupt.”
