Governor Sonko condemns police violence on students at JKUAT

Good morning Kenya. Lets all start the day by thanking the Inspector General of police for his quick response on Police brutality on a JKUAT student Mr. Allan Omondi yesterday.

YESTERDAY’S POST CONDEMNING THE INCIDENT.

This police brutality is now becoming too common . As leaders, we cannot remain mute when our sons and daughters are being subjected to inhumane beatings by a few rogue police officers, yet the victims were exercising their constitutional right to a peaceful protest. I strongly condemn this incident which happened today at JKUAT where my daughter was once a student leader. I am very disappointed and saddened by this unfortunate incident. Over to you Bwana IG and IPOA .
